Youth group

← Ridderweek

The Youth group is primarily for first-time participants aged 15 to 18 at Ridderweek. The group has room for up to 15 participants. First-time participants take priority, and where there is spare capacity, returning participants in the age group may also be offered a place.

Who can take part?

Young people with visual or physical impairments aged 15 to 18.

First-time participants are guaranteed a place. Returning participants may be offered a place if any remain once first-time participants have been allocated.

Self-sufficient

Taking part assumes you are self-sufficient. That means managing personal hygiene and most daily tasks yourself. The leaders can help with changing equipment and with basic support around the activities.

Accommodation and support

The Youth group stays together at Riddertunet, with 4 to 6 participants per apartment alongside companions and students. The group leaders look after the group throughout the week.

Breakfast and lunch are served in the apartments, while dinner is taken together at Lodge900.

Support through the week

Each participant has a dedicated companion during ski activities, social events and at Riddertunet. The Youth group follows its own programme during Ridderweek, alongside parts of the main programme.

Price

  • 2,100 NOK for the full week, covering meals, accommodation, competitions and social events
  • 350 NOK annual membership, paid on registration
  • Coach to and from Beitostølen is paid for separately on registration

Classification

All new participants at Ridderweek are classified. We sort this out on site. Classification takes place on the Monday of Ridderweek, so there is nothing you need to arrange beforehand.
